For the fifth consecutive year a Peruvian restaurant has been ranked as the best in all of Latin America by the “50 Best” one of the most prestigious magazines in the culinary world. During a ceremony held Tuesday the 24th in Bogota, Colombia the names of the 50 best restaurants in the region were given. Out of the total number of 50 listings there were 10 Peruvian restaurants.
Maido by renowned chef Mitsuharu Tsumura heads the ranking, this is the first time “Maido” has the number one spot for this prestigious list. In the second spot we have “Central” which had locked on to the number one spot for the previous 3 years.
