The 6-Day Galapagos Tour begins in Quito, Ecuador’s capital, before heading to Santa Cruz Island in the archipelago. Highlights include exploring the Santa Cruz Highlands, diving at Daphne Island and Seymour Point, and a day tour to Bartolome Island, which offers opportunities to observe diverse marine life and volcanic landscapes.

Once you arrive in Ecuador, one of our representatives will welcome you and take you to your airport hotel in Quito.

We begin the day early by heading to the airport and getting ready for the flight to the Galapagos Islands. The total flight time is around 2 hours. Upon arrival at the Baltra Airport, a representative will greet you and assist you in getting to Itabaca Channel. Then, travelers will take a 5-minute ferry and a 45-minute car ride before arriving in Puerto Ayora. Later in the day, travelers will visit the Santa Cruz highlands.

Take a diving tour at Daphne Island, an isolated offshore tuff an hour from the dive base. During the dive, we’ll see Galapagos sharks, pelagic fish, and sea sponges on rock walls. Other notable sealife travelers will get to sea are turtles, barracudas, eagle rays, hammerhead sharks, and reef fish.

Seymour Channel has a platform that drops away 10 meters deep to a sandy bottom where divers will see Galapagos sharks, reef sharks, sea turtles, and Galapagos eels, among several other species of underwater life.

Spend a memorable morning at Bartolome Island. From its elevated height of almost 400 feet, you’ll be treated to breathtaking scenic views of the lunar-like craters, volcanic cones, lava fields, and pristine beaches of the Galapagos Islands. In the afternoon, venture to Santiago Island, an active volcanic island that is one of the best places to observe fur seals in the Galapagos.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, and prepare for your journey home. Our team will take you to the airport for your international flight. If you have extra time and an interest in exploring more of colonial Quito and its surroundings, we can arrange additional tours for you.

This is a “land-based” or “island hopping” package. You will stay in a hotel on Santa Cruz Island and take daily boat excursions to world-class dive sites like Daphne and Bartolomé, allowing you to enjoy the local nightlife and dining in Puerto Ayora each evening
Yes. Since Day 3 and Day 4 include specialized diving at Daphne Island and Seymour Channel (known for hammerheads and reef sharks), a PADI Open Water certification (or equivalent) is required to participate in the dives.
A cruise allows you to reach the outermost islands, whereas this 6-day land-based tour focuses on the central archipelago. This is ideal for travelers who prefer sleeping on solid ground and want to focus specifically on the best diving spots near Santa Cruz and Bartolomé.
Absolutely. On Day 2, we visit the Santa Cruz Highlands, which is the best place in the archipelago to see Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat, as well as the Charles Darwin Research Station.
The dive sites included (Daphne and Seymour) can sometimes have moderate currents. While we welcome all certified divers, we recommend having some experience or feeling comfortable in open water to best enjoy the sightings of hammerheads and eagle rays
World-class diving! Seeing hammerheads at Daphne Island was the highlight of my life. The logistics were flawless, and the diving instructors knew exactly where to find the sharks!

This trip had the best of both worlds. I loved exploring the Santa Cruz highlands and then heading to Bartolomé for those iconic views. Perfect if you prefer hotels over boat cabins. Thank you to Marco for making this trip happen.

A completely stress-free trip. From the Quito airport meet-and-greet to the boat transfers in the islands, everything was handled perfectly. A world-class experience from start to finish.

Discover the rich cultural heritage of Quito then visit the island archipelago on this all inclusive 8-day Quito and Galapagos cruise tour. Enjoy Scuba diving along the mysterious fauna the Galapagos Archipelago is famous for.
